MATTAPOISETT — Mattapoisett Congregational Church will once again host its “Welcome Home” worship service and community picnic at Ned’s Point at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9.

Parishioners at the church invite everyone in the Tritown to celebrate a new school year with worship followed by a picnic lunch. The service will recognize members of Tritown police and fire departments for their caring service to the people of Marion, Mattapoisett and Rochester.
