Mattapoisett Library to hold end of summer, September events

MATTAPOISETT — September will be library card sign up month at the Mattapoisett Library, with special prizes for signing up for a card.  

But before that, on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 10:30 a.m. join Kay Hanley Alden for an end of summer celebration with a warm up, ribbon skills, maypole dance and games. This program is recommended for children age 5 and up. Contact the library to register.

STEM at the library will take place on Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. with a program on pirates. The library will hold an event in celebration of Shel Silverstein’s birthday on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10:30 a.m. The library will also have an elephant craft on Friday, Sept. 27 at 3:15 p.m.
