The following Mattapoisett Recreation programs are coming up.

Center Stage Kids

Tracy Gendreau Fiore will lead Mattapoisett Recreation's winter theater program for kids ages 5 to 12. Children will learn various aspects of the performing arts and will participate in a theatrical production on the last day of the eight-week session.

The sessions will be Wednesdays, 3 to 4 p.m., Dec. 2 to Feb. 3 and cost $100. The registration deadline is Dec. 1.

Adult jewelry making workshop

Local artist Diana Taft will hold a workshop on jewelry making. Each participant will be able to make two jewelry items to bring home. All beads and supplies will be provided. Sign up online at www.mattrec.net or at the Council on Aging office. This event is open to anyone 18 or older. The cost is $20. Register by Dec. 4. The workshop is Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Fencing
