Mattapoisett Recreation is now offering tennis lessons at the new Hammond Street tennis courts. Ben Figueiredo, Bishop Stang High School tennis and soccer coach, will offer a five-week tennis program. Monday and Wednesday classes will consist of 30 minutes of instruction followed by 15 minutes of game play.

This program is designed for girls and boys ages 5 and up. The cost is $100 per person. Each sibling that signs off will get $10 off.

The session runs July 14 to Aug. 13.
