Registration is still open for the following Mattapoisett Recreation summer programs. The Seahorse Summer Explorers program runs for six weeks, June 30 through Aug. 8. Each week explorers will participate in sports, arts and crafts, swimming, library visits and more. Program options include weekly full-day for $170, half-day for $90 and choose your day – $40 for full-day and $30 for half-day. The Registration deadline is May 15; space is limited.

Adventures in Space runs from July 7 to 11, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and offers kids an opportunity to build and launch a rocket, design and create alien life forms and make star wheels for gazing. The day camp is open to ages 6 to 11 and is held at the Old Hammondtown School gym. The cost is $110 per participant.

Musical Theater will be July 14 to 18, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is for kids ages 5 to 13. Kids will be part of a production of “Teen Beach Movie.” The program is $155 per participant and will be held at the Old Hammondtown cafetorium.

Nature Explores runs from July 21 to 25 for kids ages 8 to 11. Children will explore Mattapoisett nature around town. This week-long program includes hands on exploration and experiments. The cost is $125 per participant.
