The 42nd Mattapoisett Road Race kicks off at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4.

The race starts and ends on Water Street near Cannon Street, winding through Mattapoisett Village.

Registration prices are as follows: $15 by June 25, $20 by July 3 and $25 on the day of race. T-shirts will be given to the first 750 runners.

All proceeds from the race are awarded to graduating seniors from ORR High School who are involved with running. Over the past 11 years the Race Committee has given over $100,000 in awards to Tri-Town Students.
