ORR Junior High goes under the sea with 'The Little Mermaid'

Hans Christian Andersen's story of a mermaid who wants to be human was brought to the stage on Thursday and Friday as the Old Rochester Regional Junior High School Drama Club presented "The Little Mermaid Jr."
The story followed the general arc of Disney's version, but some details were different. There was no singing crustacean and the title character was named Annabelle not Ariel, but the production had it's own unique and fun take on the story.
The version of the popular story didn't have any lead roles, giving many students the opportunity to take the spotlight.
There were also two different students playing some of the larger roles to give more people an opportunity to act.
