Outdoor painting workshop

The Sippican Lands Trust is offering its first outdoor painting workshop on Saturday, July 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at White Eagle Property located off of Parlowtown Road. The rain date is July 13.

Artist Kim Barry will lead the class. Barry has master’s degree in painting from UMass Dartmouth and a bachelor’s degree in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has worked in the arts and teaching over the past 20 years and currently serves as the chair of the art department at CATS Academy in Boston.

The workshop is an opportunity for painters of all skill levels in both oil and acrylic paints. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Space is limited to 20 participants and registration is required. Lands Trust members can register for free. Non-members will be charged $20. Everyone should bring their own supplies.
