Saturday’s storm came and went without causing too much trouble, though Brant Beach Avenue football fans had a close call.

After the storm dumped between 8 to 10 inches of snow, neighborhood residents awoke without power on Sunday before the AFC Championship game between the Patriots and Denver Broncos.

Lawrence Risko shared this photograph of Eversource and Xfinity crews working to restore electricity and cable in time for the 3 p.m. kick off, which they did.

Unfortunately the Pats didn’t advance to the Super Bowl, losing 20-18.

Well, there’s always next year.
