Registration open for Gateway Babe Ruth Baseball

Players between the ages of 12 and 16 can sign up for Gateway Babe Ruth Baseball by March 28.

More than 20 teams are open to players from Dartmouth, Middleboro, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Onset and Wareham.

The season will start with plenty of practices and scrimmages in April and May, and possible town tournaments between teams. Regular season games will run from mid-June to late July.

The league will also be putting together 15, 14, and 13-year-old All-Star teams for the Babe Ruth National Tournament.

Games and practices will be scheduled to avoid conflict with Legion and AAU games whenever possible.

Gateway Babe Ruth will also be hosting pitcher/catcher clinics on Saturdays in April. The clinics are open to two age groups: 9 to 12-year-olds and 13 to 16-year-olds.

Go to www.gatewaybaberuth.com to register for clinics or the season.
