Join Seth Mendell of the Mattapoisett Historical Society for an evening lecture exploring the worst natural disaster in Mattapoisett’s history, the Hurricane of 1938. The lecture will take place on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 5 p.m. at the gazebo in Shipyard Park. This program is free. Donations are welcome.
