Rochester elections to take place on Wednesday, May 27
ROCHESTER — Voters will head to the polls on Wednesday, May 27 to decide municipal positions.
Voting will take place on Wednesday at the Rochester Senior Center located at 67 Dexter Lane from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Early in-person voting for the Annual Town Election will take place from May 18 to May 22 from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the Town Hall Conference Room located at 1 Constitution Way.
The race for Rochester Memorial School Committee is contested with four candidates running for two positions. Incumbent Kate Duggan is running against Isabel Gomes-McCann, Barbara Lee and Stacie Nobel Shriver.
Select Board Chair Adam Murphy is running for reelection and is unopposed.
Current Town Clerk Marjorie Barrows is the incumbent and unopposed for her position.
Marcia Kessler is running unopposed for the Board of Assessors.
Voters will be asked to choose between Beatrice Renauld and Judith Shepley as the Tax Collector.
Cemetery Commissioner incumbent Timothy Lynch is running unopposed.
Board of Health Michael Amato is running unopposed for reelection.
Incumbent Brian Berube is running against Kelvin Douglas Sims Sr. for Park Commission.
Carla Correia and Ann Soares are running for two open positions on the Plumb Library Trustees.
Lee Carr and Marc R. Rosseau Jr. are running for two open positions on the Planning Board.
Water Commission incumbent Christopher Gerrior is running unopposed for reelection.
Old Rochester School Committee incumbent Peter Damien McCann is running for reelection.
Incumbent William D. Watling is running unopposed for Herring Inspector.
