Rochester Historical Society to hold ‘revolutionary’ meeting

ROCHESTER — The Rochester Historical Society is continuing its celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary with its monthly meeting and a new exhibit.

This month’s meeting, to be held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 19 at 355 County Road, will be about the life of a soldier in the Revolutionary War. Malcolm Phinney will present the program.

There will be refreshments and time for conversation to follow. 

The historical society will also have its exhibit "Rochester and the Revolution" on display through the summer.
