The town of Rochester will hold a Memorial Day event on May 29th at Town Hall. The ceremony will begin at noon and will include a short parade, an introduction and salute, the local boy scouts and girl scouts, the local ROTC program and music from the fifth and sixth graders of Rochester Memorial School.The walk will be to Daggett Square, where there will be a reading of veteran names as well as a recitation of the Gettysburg Address.
