Sara Hester of Rochester passed away suddenly on Dec. 17 in Phoenix, Arizona of a medical emergency.  She was the daughter of Linda Smith and John Hester and the sister of Jeff Hester. Sara graduated from Old Rochester Regional High School in 1999 and from Grand Canyon College.

She was a very popular teacher to all her special students and went on to become very active as a foster parent to many dogs through the KoolK9's of Phoenix. Sara will be greatly missed by all the people who knew her. In her memory, please find it in your hearts to give a donation to It’s All About the Animals in Rochester or koolk9rescue.org. There will be a small gathering for her friends at her mom’s house on Hartley Road on Dec. 27 from 5 to 6 p.m.
