The Mattapoisett Historical Society is celebrating the area’s maritime history with a spring concert with the New Bedford Harbor Sea Chantey Chorus.

The group will perform at the Mattapoisett Historical Society, 5 Church St., on Sunday, May 3 at 2 p.m.

The 40+ member chorus’ repertoire includes rousing chanteys, amusing ditties and soothing ballads. There is a $5 donation; members are admitted free.
