MARION – Lapsit storytime begins for the fall on Monday, Sept. 8 at 10:30 a.m at the Elizabeth Taber Library, located at 8 Spring Street.

This program is designed for babies who are not yet walking, featuring songs and stories with a focus on child-parent engagement and early literacy skills.

Full moon parties are back for the fall. On Saturday, Sept. 6, celebrate the Corn Moon with storytime at 11 a.m. and a full moon party from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. 

Sign up for a kids book club that meet from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays. Nonfiction Nerds club starts Sept. 11, Chapter Book Champions starts Sept. 18 and Fantastic Fiction starts Sept. 25. Books are available for pick up at the Library.

Join the library for Tween Takeover every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 3 p.m. This program is for 5th to 7th graders. The next takeover meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 10, where there will be snacks, chats, and crafts with perler beads.

Monthly Memoir Writing workshops at the library start Thursday, Sept. 18 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
