Sippican Historical Society to show classic western film

The next Classic Film Series, sponsored by the Sippican Historical Society and the Marion Council on Aging, will be “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” shown at the Music Hall on Friday, March 10 at 7 p.m.
The classic western film starts John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Vera Miles and Lee Marvin. Greenhorn eastern attorney Stewart tries to set up business in the wild west where the ranchers are already battling the farmers and homesteaders. Stewart and Wayne also compete for the love of a woman.
Come early and enjoy music from Truman Terrell and Bob Sanderson and hang around after for comments from David Pierce.
