MARION — The Sippican Lands Trust will have a few extra hands around on Friday April 12 to help tend the Lands Trust’s trails, thanks to TerraCorps. 

The offshoot of AmeriCorps works with land conservation groups, and has selected the Sippican Lands Trust as its spring service project recipient. It will send 30 to 35 of its 36 service members to help clear out trails on Sippcan Lands Trust properties on April 12. 

“As a TerraCorps member, it’s great to be part of a team and to help an organization that cares deeply about protecting and improving land for others,” said Mathew MacDonald, Community Engagement Coordinator for the organization.
