Due to inclement weather the Sippican Woman’s Club meeting scheduled for March 10 has been rescheduled for March 17.

Retired Marion veterinarian Dr. Robert Tremblay will be present to share tales of pets, feathered friends and pet owners. Dr. Tremblay build Marion Animal Hospital in 1972 and provided care for local pets until he sold his practice in 1999. After retirement he had a home-based aviary where he nursed and nurtured injured birds of prey.

The meeting will be at 12:30 p.m. at Handy’s Tavern at 152 Front Street. Finger food luncheon will be served, a business meeting will be held at 1 p.m. and Dr. Tremblay’s program is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

Meetings are open to anyone who is interested.
