Students find animals, signs of fall on nature walk

MARION — On Wednesday Oct. 23, the Marion Natural History Museum's afterschool group went on a nature walk looking for signs of fall.
Scarlett Riker found an owl pellet under a tree. Others found burrows, nests and even a small snake hiding under a log.
Students and Tabor Academy volunteers observed the different color leaves of trees and shrubs and looked for mushrooms.
