Summer conditioning for athletes

Junior high and high school athletes are invited to participated in a summer conditioning program, Monday to Friday, from June 24 to August 16.

The program is a general conditioning geared to help all athletes get ready for fall sports, and will focus on speed, agility, strength, and mobility.

The program is 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Athletes choose which nights they want to attend. Two to three nights are recommended a week.

Old Rochester Regional cross country and track coach Cindy Tilden and football and track athletes Ian Knapton, and Christian Lavoie who played at ORR and Bridgewater State will lead the program.

Permission slips will be available in the high school office. The cost is $100. Checks should be made out to Mattapoisett Recreation. Please do not make the checks out to ORR.
