MARION — The Sippican Tennis Club will host its first charity tournament on June 15.

The Open Charity Tournament organizers plan to continue the tournament in the years to come, supporting a different charity each year. This year’s tournament will benefit the Marion Garden Group’s Town Beautification Project.

The doubles tournament is open to sixty participants from the general public. Matches will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Start times will be based on level of play.

Refreshments will be available from Harriet’s Catering and Kate’s Simple Eats. The tournament will also feature a raffle with tennis and sailing-related items. Registration is $50 per person and includes tennis balls, refreshments, and a participation gift.
