May 31, 2022

MARION — The Tri-County Symphonic Band will present a concert featuring the music of John Williams, one of America’s best-known film composers, on Sunday, June 12.

Music composed by Williams for five films will be played under the grand tent on the lawn next to the Fireman Performing Arts Center at Tabor Academy in Marion.

The concert will also feature marimba soloist Dan Monte playing “Csárdás” by Vittorio Monti. A social hour with drinks and light fare begins at 1 p.m. and the music starts at 2 p.m.

The grand tent, with ample space and ventilation on all sides, is virtually an open air concert event. All proceeds from the concert and raffle support the John R. Pandolfi Scholarship Fund.

Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door and may be purchased in advance at the Symphony Music Shop in North Dartmouth or on line at brownpapertickets.com.
