MARION — The Marion Police Department arrested two people on Tuesday, July 23 for drug charges, according to the department.
Spencer Mello, 34, and Jaimee Morris, 35, were taken into custody after officers searched the Marion home on Point Road where they both live.
Mello is charged with drug possession and possession with intent to distribute. Morris is charged with possession of ammunition and drug possession.
Both pleaded not guilty to their charges on Wednesday, July 24 at Wareham District Court.
The arrests were made in conjunction with the New Bedford Police Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau.
Marion Police Department could not be reached for comment.
