MARION — Guitarist Donn Legge and saxophone player Marcus Monteiro are set to hit all the right notes at the Marion Art Center’s “Unplugged” concert event on Friday, May 9. 

Two performances will take place at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m on the same night, with member tickets priced at $15 and non-member admission priced at $20.

Legge is an avid musician located on the South Coast, performing with acts such as Blues Train, South Coast Jazz Orchestra, NB Rude Boys and Dori Reubbicco while working as a music educator until his retirement in 2024.

Marion-based saxophonist Monteiro has been described by Shaquille O’Neal as a “force to be reckoned with.” He is known for his improvisational skills and musical intensity, performing with groups such as The O’Jays, The Rebirth Brass Band and Cirque du Soleil.
