Upcoming spring events at the Elizabeth Taber Library
MARION — Join the Elizabeth Taber Library for new clubs and events coming this spring.
Fiber Art Club. Join the library’s newest club open to anyone in the fiber arts including those who knit, sew or crochet.
The club is meant for members to meet new people, share fiber art project ideas and work with others. The Fiber Arts Club meets every Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Adult Reader’s Advisory Group. Adult Reader’s Advisory Group will meet March 24 at 11 a.m.
The club will discuss reading, books and explore new genres.
PiDay Conversation. The library will be hosting an interactive community conversation on Pi Day, Saturday, March 14 starting at 11 a.m.
The conversation will be about what new programs, services, and offerings residents would like to have at the Elizabeth Taber Library.
Join the library for a pie tasting and a fun and a conversation about the future of the library.
Li Liu Chinese Acrobatics. The library will be hosting acrobat Li Liu on Saturday, March 28 at 1 p.m. at the Marion Music Hall.
Join to see Li’s performance and to learn about the traditions of Chinese acrobatics. This program is for all ages and is free to attend.
