New this winter, Marion Recreation will offer wrestling for boys and girls in kindergarten to 8^th grade. Enrollment is open to all children in Marion and surrounding towns.

The program will start with basic instruction in technique along with fitness improvement, and will work up to competing in some of the local youth tournaments.

The goal of the coaching staff is to teach the sport, develop skills that translate into other sports and have fun.

Coaching staff consists of Bob Marcolini, Doug Lally, Tom Walsh and Pete Marcolini. They have many years of experience coaching youth wrestling.

The coaches will hold an informational meeting and tour of the facility on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Marion Recreation Department, 13 Atlantis Drive in Marion.
