June 5 was the last day residents may register to vote in the upcoming Special State Election for a U.S. Senate. The election is scheduled for June 25.

The Massachusetts mail-in voter registration form can be used to register to vote, update registration information due to a change of name, make a change of address, or to register with a political party. The form may be downloaded online at www.sec.state.ma.us. After filling out this form, it must be printed, signed, mailed to your local election official.

Residents may register to vote in person by going to any registration location, generally the Town Clerk's office, and completing a affidavit of registration.

It is also possible to register at the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Residents are advised to keep the receipt from the registry until confirmation from a local election official is received.
