The Marion, Mattapoisett and Rochester police departments will host the annual Tri-Town Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. The purpose of the event is to promote community involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships and to allow the community to meet their public safety officials.

This is a free outdoor event with a activities geared to families. There will be food, drinks, music, a bounce house and more. There will also be police vehicles, fire engines and live demonstrations for the families. At 6:30 p.m. there is a special event that is sure to be a crowd favorite.
