The Marion Board of Selectmen is seeking one individual to serve as Tree Warden until next year's Town election on May 17, 2019. The Tree Warden is an elected official responsible for overseeing the care, maintenance, or removal of public shade trees.

This is a volunteer opportunity and the position is not compensated.

The selectmen ask those interested to submit a letter of interest to the Board of Selectmen by the close of business on Thursday, May 10.

The Board of Selectmen will appoint an individual to fill the vacancy at a special meeting to be held at 9 a.m. on May 11, in the Marion Town House conference room.
