Christmas came early in Rochester on Saturday Dec. 10 as friends and families braved the cold for some face-time with Old Saint Nick, as well as a chance to show their stuff at the arts and crafts tables making a few holiday decorations.
As Santa spread his Christmas cheer around Plumb Corner Mall for the annual Holiday Fetsival, he received a helping hand from the Rochester Girl Scouts.
Inside and outside the shops, the Junior Friends of the Plumb library organized games, and helped with face-painting and raffles.
During the annual event, Girl Scouts’ Troop 80165 kicked-off cookie season.
The girls spent the morning working the crowds, eager to get a head start on their sales for the season.
