ROCHESTER — The Rochester Land Trust is holding its annual meeting for 2024 at George’s Pony Pasture, directly across the street from the Church homestead at 139 Mattapoisett Road, on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 11 a.m.

Hot apple cider and apple cider doughnuts will be available as the meeting gathers in the new old foundation garden.

Trust members will elect a new slate of officers and three new board members. Board members will update everyone on what the Rochester Land Trust has been up to.

After the meeting, the gathering will cross the street and take a walk to the river at Church’s Field across the trust’s newly reconstructed bog boards.

Attendees are asked to park along the road or at the Church’s Field parking area to the south. The event will be held rain or shine. A tent will be used if necessary. The meeting is open to the public.
