Clerical position available for Town of Marion
The Town of Marion is seeking applicants for a clerk position in the Treasurer/Collector’s Office. The part time position will be 19 hours per week at a pay rate of $17.78 to $19.93 per hour for the fiscal year of 2020.
Job responsibilities include professional and technical work related to operations of the Treasurer and Collector’s office in the Finance Department such as managing cash, tax bill creation and collection, and account reconciliation. multi-tasking, problem solving, and decision making skills, as well as a high degree of flexibility and the ability to deal with the public and prioritize required tasks are important to the performance of this job.
Familiarity with Munis Financial Management and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
