A cornucopia of Mattapoisett Library Events this November
MATTAPOISETT — Join the Mattapoisett Free Public Library for November events. The Library is located at 7 Barstow Street.
All library programs and events are free and open to everyone. Some events request registration.

Teen Advisory Board Pizza Party. Students in grades nine through 12 are invited to join us for our Teen Advisory Board Pizza Party kick-off on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m.
This event promises pizza and the opportunity to have a powerful impact on the community. Stop by for a slice and find out more — no registration required.
Sticker and Chill. Need a break from school chaos? Join the library for Sticker and Chill at the library on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 3:30 p.m.
Relax, get creative, and build your own 3D sticker scene with one of our soothing sticker kits — which participants can customize and keep. This event is for ages thirteen to seventeen.
Library closures. The library will close at noon on Friday, Nov. 7 for staff first-aid, CPR, and AED training.
The library will reopen regular hours on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m.
The library will also be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.
In celebration of Thanksgiving, the library will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26. The library will reopen with regular hours on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m.
Silent Book Club. The Silent Book Club returns on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. in the upstairs Reading Rooms.
Participants will enjoy delicious treats, tea and quiet time to read.
Relax with friends, acquaintances and strangers while learning about your next favorite book. The event is for patrons ages 16 and up — no registration required.
Friends of the Mattapoisett Library meeting. The next meeting of the Friends of the Mattapoisett Library is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m.
All are welcome to attend. A Zoom link to the meeting is available upon request.

Jewelry donations. The Friends of Mattapoisett Library are still accepting jewelry donations for their December sale.
Donate gently used or unworn jewelry or accessories. Please drop these items off at the circulation desk by Nov. 16. The contributions are appreciated and will help support future library events.
