Marion resident charged with 3 additional offenses after initial arrest
MARION — 35-year-old Marion resident Spencer Mello was arrested and charged with three additional offenses related to drug possession with intent to distribute and possession of ammunition without a Firearms Identification card on Sunday, Oct. 27.
After receiving a search warrant, the Marion Police Department and Massachusetts State Police searched Spencer Mello’s 968 Point Road residence which was allegedly the location of a Marion-based drug operation.
Mello was arrested Sunday, Oct. 27 and charged with the following: Drug possession to distribute class A, Drug possession to distribute class B and Ammunition without a Firearms Identification card.
Mello was initially arrested on Monday, September 8 after a targeted narcotics investigation began with interception of communication between two suspects and resulted in several arrests.
Mello was initially charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking cocaine, Class A distribution, possession with intent to distribute Class C, possession with intent to distribute Class B and conspiracy to violate controlled substance act.
Mello has been charged previously with kidnapping in 2016, drug possession in 2024 and has had multiple complaints filed about a dangerous dog he owns.
