Elizabeth Taber Library expands homeschool programming
Sep 29, 2026
MARION — The Elizabeth Taber Library is offering a new program for homeschooled students this fall.
The new program, Letters About Literature, is designed for kids aged 10-14, or in fourth to eighth grade.
Students will write a letter to an author about a book that has impacted them.
The seven-week writing workshop will help students develop skills in personal writing, literary analysis, peer reviewing, and editing. This program was developed in conjunction with the Massachusetts Center for the Book.
The group will meet Fridays at 2 p.m. beginning Oct. 9. The sessions will continue through Nov. 20.
Registration is required, and can be found at elizabethtaberlibrary.org/events.
