Hang out virtually with the cast of Spoon River Anthology

Jan 19, 2021

Everyone is invited to a virtual party hosted by the cast of the Spoon River Anthology, a virtual play recently staged by the Old Rochester Regional Drama Club.

The play was first performed in early December, and that recording has been edited into a director’s cut titled “The Spoon River Movie.” The movie was put together by drama director Jacob Sherburne.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, with conversation amongst the cast, who will be treated to goodie bags put together by F.O.R.D., the Drama Club’s parent-led booster club.

At 7:30, the new director’s cut of the play will be shown to the cast and audience.

Fans are encouraged to watch the event on Facebook live, where the cast’s reactions will be shown alongside the film. Additionally, audience members will be able to comment on the stream so students can read (and maybe even respond). The Facebook live event can be accessed at http://bit.ly/SpoonRiverMovie-CastParty

The movie is currently available on the F.O.R.D. website (https://sites.google.com/oldrochester.org/f-o-r-d/home) for streaming, and is scheduled to be broadcast live on ORCTV’s Facebook Page and the Bulldog Weekly Youtube channel.

Tickets cost $5, and proceeds will go to support the drama program at ORR.
