The fire was quick-moving and severely damaged the house.
MATTAPOISETT — A large, fast-moving fire broke out at a Mattapoisett home Monday afternoon.
Several towns helped fight the flames at 2 Martha's Way, which was occupied when the fire broke out. Fairhaven, Marion, Rochester, Acushnet and New Bedford provided mutual aid while Wareham provided station coverage.
