Leap into woodland walk

MARION — Join the Sippican Lands Trust for a ribbeting woodlands walk on Saturday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m.

Volunteer Lorene Sweeney will lead a walk through the White Eagle and Aucoot Woods to listen for frogs during their breeding season. 

Participants will meet at the Hoff parking lot and take a short walk through various wet areas in search of the amphibians. Results will depend on weather and temperature, but organizers hope to see and hear spring peepers and wood frogs.

The path is uneven but mostly flat, and portions will have wet areas and muddy stretches, so boots are recommended. To register, visit the Sippican Lands Trust website.
