Marion seeks volunteers for municipal positions
MARION — The Marion Select Board is seeking volunteers to serve on several town boards and committees.
Openings include three seats on the 175th Anniversary Committee, two on the Affordable Housing Trust, two full members and one alternate on the Cultural Council, one on Energy Management, two alternates on the Finance Committee, six on the Fireworks Committee, two on the Music Hall Advisory Committee, one on the Pathway Committee and two on the Scholarship Education Fund Committee.
Applications are available at the Select Board office and on the Town of Marion website, marionma.gov. I
n-person applications will be accepted at the Marion Town House Annex, 14 Barnabas Road, until July 22, and at the Marion Town House, 2 Spring Street, after Aug. 3. The deadline to apply is Aug. 12.
