Marion welcomes new town clerk

MARION — After hiring and losing the previous town clerk within months, Marion has found a new person to fill the role.
Madie-Lynn Bourgeois was appointed to the position at a Tuesday, July 21 Select Board meeting, taking over the role Katrina Desroches recently vacated.
Bourgeois is the former administrative clerk for the Bristol County Registry of Deeds, where she worked extensively in the Land Court Department.
In a short biography shared at the meeting, she said she looks forward to “building strong relationships with town staff, elected officials, and the public, while ensuring the town clerk's office continues to serve as a trusted resource for the community.”
