Mattapoisett Yacht Club Spring Round the Bay Results

MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Yacht Club hosted its annual Spring Round the Bay race on June 6. 

It was a staggered start race meaning all the handicap times are calculated at the start of the race. 

Matt Schmit’s Hardtack defeated Barry Steinberg in Glory for the Spinnaker Class with John Ewing in Migrant finished third.

In the Non-Spinnaker Class, Charles Churchill in Surprise took first place over Don Ross in Coconuts.

In the new Double Handed Class, Butch Joy in Kindred Spirits won over Rob Ryan in Restless. 

Peter Schwebach in Morpheus took third place and Liz Tapper in Lindisfarne took fourth place.

These results will count towards the overall Buzzards Bay Trophy Series.
