Old Rochester names interim assistant superintendent of finance and operations
MATTAPOISETT — The Old Rochester Regional School District will soon welcome an interim assistant superintendent of finance and operations.
Michael Perrone will join the district Sept. 21, bringing over 20 years of school finance and administration experience.

He also oversaw capital projects, procurement, transportation, facilities, maintenance and other support services in Middleboro, and helped develop long-range capital and facilities plans and participated in collective bargaining.
Before his time in Middleboro, Perrone was the interim business manager for Hanover Public Schools, managing the district’s financial operations and overseeing transportation, facilities, purchasing and food services.
Earlier in his career, Perrone held several senior school finance positions at schools in several states, including Florida and Georgia.
Perrone holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Hartford. He is certified as a school business manager in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
