Rochester Historical Society continues to celebrate America

ROCHESTER — The Rochester Historical Society will open a new exhibit, "Rochester and the Revolution," on Saturday, July 25, as part of the nation's 250th anniversary celebration.

The exhibit will show what happened in Boston and throughout the colonies during the Revolutionary War and how Rochester responded. An ongoing Revolutionary War Veterans wall will also be on display.

Visitors will be able to see a Revolutionary War militia campsite, take part in colonial activities, play children's games, and complete a scavenger hunt. Music and baked goods, including pies and cookies, will also be available.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 355 County Road.
