Sippican School hires new assistant principal

MARION — Sippican School has chosen a new Assistant Principal for this coming school year, Marion resident Sean Persico. 

Persico is currently the assistant principal at Donovan Elementary School in Randolph and will replace Kyle Letendre who finished a one-year appointment and will return to teaching at Old Hammondtown School. Prior to his work in Randolph, which began in 2019, Persico was a special education teacher in Falmouth. 

As an administrator, Persico has an open door policy and uses collaborative leadership to support all students, families and staff. He strives to create a meaningful and positive climate by being a great communicator, and a  consistent leader. His experience working in a wide range of grade levels has given him a wealth of knowledge to support the diverse needs of elementary school children, and staff.

He will begin his role as assistant principal at Sippican Elementary School in July 2020.
