Textile preservation talk with Mattapoisett Woman’s Club

MATTAPOISETT — Learn how to preserve textiles at an upcoming Mattapoisett Woman’s Club event. 

Professional textile conservator Kate Tarleton will give a presentation Feb. 19 at 11:30 a.m. at the Mattapoisett Congregational Church in Reynard Hall.

She will discuss the best methods for preserving, exhibiting, and caring for antique and vintage textiles. Participants are encouraged to bring a textile about which they need conservation advice for the Q-and-A session following the lecture.
