Tri-Town Marines invited to celebrate 250 year anniversary

The Marine Corps League of Greater New Bedford is celebrating 250 years of Marine Corps history and invites Marion, Mattapoisett and Rochester Marines and Marine Corps veterans to a birthday celebration on Nov. 6 at the Freetown Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. For more information and to register, call Ron at 774-930-0539. 

The deadline to make reservations is Oct. 27.

The Freetown Veterans of Foreign Wars is located at 89 Middleboro Road in East Freetown.
