The high schools across the tri-town area are hosting Thanksgiving holiday games, alongside an Old Rochester women’s flag football game as well.
Old Rochester football
Old Rochester Regional High School heads to Apponequet Thursday, Nov. 27 for their annual match up against Apponequet High School. Kickoff is at 10 a.m.
Old Rochester was ranked 13 in the Division 6 MIAA tournament this year and lost to Hudson High School Nov. 14 in the Elite 8.
Apponequet did not qualify for the MIAA tournament this year. They had a record of 1-8.
Old Colony football
Old Colony varsity football went 4-4 this season and is ranked 23 in MIAA’s Division 8 league.
The football team will face off against Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 3 p.m. in a home game.
Old Rochester Powderpuff
The day before Thanksgiving, a traditional women’s flag football game is played between Old Rochester and Wareham High School.
The game will be Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. at Old Rochester located at 135 Marion Road.
