Women-On-Target program to return

ROCHESTER — The Sippican Rod & Gun Club will hold its annual National Rifle Association Women-On-Target program Saturday, Sept. 26, at 215 Dexter Lane.
The program will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The morning session will teach the National Rifle Association Home Firearm Safety Course, which qualifies participants to apply for a Massachusetts License to Carry or Firearms Identification card.
Following lunch, participants will rotate individually through the club's pistol range, 50- and 100-yard rifle ranges, and shotgun trap range for supervised shooting instruction.
The $110 fee includes training materials, eye and ear protection, use of club facilities, morning snacks, lunch, ammunition and use of firearms. The program is limited to the first 24 registered participants.
To register, participants must provide their full name, including middle initial, mailing address, email address, telephone number and date of birth, along with a $110 check made out to the Sippican Rod & Gun Club.

Additional program details will be sent by email once the class is full. Those interested are encouraged to register early, as previous programs have had waiting lists.
